Kingdom Come: Deliverance II promises to be one of the most exciting releases of 2025. The enlarged world, new mechanics and support for modern technology make the game a must-have for all historical RPG fans. This is the long-awaited sequel to the iconic RPG that has won the hearts of millions of players. The first installment of the game released by Czech studio Warhorse Studios. This RPG surprised both fans of the genre and newcomers with its attention to detail, complex mechanics and the atmosphere of medieval Bohemia.
KCD2 is an open-world role-playing game about the Middle Ages. The action unfolds in XV and you, playing as Indřich from Skalica, have to take revenge on King Sigismund of Vergia for killing the main character’s parents. Along the way you will have an incredibly interesting adventure, in which you will fight with enemies, perform quests and explore the medieval world. And there is a lot to explore here, because the open world in the game compared to the previous part was increased several times!
The sequel promises not only to preserve the unique style of the original game, but also to bring a lot of new features and opportunities. A doubled world, updated game mechanics, a new reputation system and much more.
Release Date
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was originally scheduled for release in late 2024, but during development the developers decided to move the release to early 2025. The originally announced date of February 11, 2025 has also been revised.
Now the official release date is February 4, 2025. According to Warhorse Studios, the postponement is due to the need to finalize key elements of the game in order to provide the best possible product. This is the final release date of the game. Many bloggers have already gotten a chance to evaluate the game and praise it. Also, this release date has been published on Steam!
On which platforms will the game be available?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is focused on modern gaming platforms, allowing the studio to maximize the possibilities of the new generation of consoles and PCs. The game will be available for the following devices:

- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X/S
The developers’ decision to refuse to release the game on previous generation consoles, such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, is due to the desire to create a project with improved graphics, more complex physics and an expanded game world.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for PC version is developed on CryEngine engine, known for its high hardware requirements. Like the first installment, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will support modding. In the first game, mods added many new features, including redesigned interfaces, improved combat mechanics, and even brand new quests.
